Designation:

Reclaimed or salvaged sandstone pavers with a sawn top surface. This is a form of recycling, as the product undergoes transformation.

Origin:

Belgium and neighboring countries

Description:

Fine-grained, slightly micaceous argillaceous sandstone.

Appearance:

Sandstone pavers are available in an extremely wide range, featuring vibrant shades (yellow, green, red, rusty brown) or more muted tones (from grey-green to grey-blue, burgundy, ochre, beige). The stone develops a patina of rusty brown when rich in iron, and shades of grey-blue or greenish otherwise.
