Description:
Porphyry is an igneous rock, formed by the cooling of magma. It is composed of millimeter-sized crystals of plagioclase, alkali feldspars, amphiboles, pyroxenes, and quartz embedded in a microcrystalline groundmass. A solid stone perfectly suited for outdoor use, it is resistant to wear, frost, exceptionally hard, dense, and pressure-resistant.
Appearance:
Shade tending towards beige (due to alteration), from a blue-grey or green-grey background, sometimes reddish or purplish, speckled with small light and/or blackish spots.
The general appearance and shades may vary depending on the batch
Applications:
Pavers and edgings for road, park, and garden landscaping
Tolerance applicable from the limits of the nominal dimension ranges (min. and max.): 1 cm
